If anyone knows learn how to organize a kitchen, it’s knowledgeable chef like Jeff Mauro!
The Food Network star invited us into his Chicago home, showed us learn how to make his grandma’s 4-ingredient sausage bread, and gave us a tour of his kitchen and pantry (our favourite parts of any home, in fact).
“That’s really what sold us on this house,” Jeff says of his spacious and shiny kitchen.
And we took note of the organizing suggestions and tricks the “Sandwich King” showed us.
TIP #1: Install a Pull-Out Trash Can Under Your Counter
Jeff’s dog, Jojo, may not like this tip because it means less scraps laying around on the ground, but personally, we’re all for less mess!
“As an alternative of getting to scoop up stuff and convey it to the sink or garbage,” Jeff explains, “scrape it right in there.”
So easy, yet SO smart!
TIP #2: Keep Your Spices in a Drawer with the Labels Facing Up
Everyone knows the frustrating feeling of not with the ability to find exactly what we’re in search of quickly while cooking, so we’re super into this alternative to a spice cabinet!
“You possibly can see every label without having to look behind other bottles,” Jeff says.
If you would like to copy Jeff (we won’t tell), we found an organizer that appears quite a bit like his right here!
